The DME Oil Cooler Block-Off Plate is designed to block off the oil cooler lines from the engine case and oil pan to the oil cooler. Most aftermarket oil pans do not have a spot to mount the oil cooler line, so for those customers, you just need one block off plate for the engine case. The trap door design allows oil to flow freely to the back of the pan during acceleration. During deceleration the door closes and traps the oil in the back of the pan. This keeps the fixed pick up submerged in oil both accelerating and decelerating. DME and Twowheelwerkz makes a great pan, with the swinging pick up and baffel also I just never used a flat pan on the street with a turbo bike.
